About the role

As our Manager Leasing - Strategy & Leasing (Senior P&I Specialist), you'll combine deep commercial leasing expertise with strategic thinking and governance leadership. You'll lead selected complex, operationally sensitive leasing transactions while supporting the ongoing implementation and refinement of a new outsourced leasing model that aligns with the airline's commercial and operational priorities. The role purpose, key outputs, and governance responsibilities are aligned with the attached position profile. 

You'll:

• Lead significant and complex leasing transactions across airport, operational and network critical property
• Provide trusted commercial advice to senior leaders and stakeholders across the business
• Oversee governance of outsourced leasing services, monitoring performance, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with Air New Zealand policies and delegated authority. 
• Identify and manage commercial, operational, compliance and Health & Safety risks to support sound decision making
• Partner with Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, accruals and financial performance
• Build strong relationships with airports, landlords, legal advisors, service providers and internal stakeholders to deliver successful commercial outcomes
• Contribute specialist leasing expertise to portfolio strategy, operational planning and future property initiatives.
